This site contains selected items from historical collections housed in the Elmira College Archives in the Gannett-Tripp Library. Included currently are photographs illustrating the rich history of Elmira College from its founding in 1855 to the present. As this site progresses it is planned to include textual materials and objects from theCollege Archive as well as unique and valuable pieces having to do with the life and times of Samuel Clemens (Mark Twain) from the Collections of Elmira's Mark Twain Archive.
